Cabinet approves draft agreement with Russia on cooperation in sphere of air search and rescue

Kyiv, June 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has charged the Emergencies Minister Viktor Baloha with signing an agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in the sphere of air search and rescue.

This is stipulated in government instruction No. 370-r dated June 13, 2012. The instruction also approves the text of the agreement.

The international agreement establishes the principles and limits of joint coordinated assistance in the organization and conducting of air search and rescue operations in the regions subordinate to the sides in the case of aircraft accidents.
