Helicopter falls into sea in Crimea, pilot makes it to shore

Kyiv, August 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A helicopter fell into the Black Sea and sank 200 meters off the Crimean coast in Saky district, the pilot made it to the shore.

At 2125 on August 6, a private Robinson R44 helicopter fell into the water due to technical failure and sank, the press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry reported on Tuesday morning.

The pilot, a resident of Kharkiv, reached the shore independently and does not need medical assistance.
