UKRAINE-ANNOUNCEMENT

On Thursday, July 19, at 12.00, the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency will host a press conference entitled “The Start of an Expedition to Lenin Peak 2012″ (7,134 m). Participating will be Yuriy Cherevko (who has made ascents of ten peaks of 7,000 m or higher, and who has experience of climbing in the mountains of Crimea, the Caucasus, Pamir, Tian Shan, the Tatras, the Alps, and the Cordillera), Kostiantyn Cherevko (who has made ascents of two peaks higher than 7,000 m, and who has experience of climbing in the mountains of Crimea, Caucasus, Pamir, Tian Shan, and the Cordillera), Oleksiy Nechyporenko (who has experience of climbing in the mountains of Crimea, the Caucasus, Pamir and Tian Shan and the Alps), Natalia Poliukhovych (who has experience of climbing in the mountains of Crimea, the Caucasus, Tian Shan, and the High Tatras).
