UKRAINE-AMBASSADORS-PRESIDENT-CREDENTIALS
Kyiv, July 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has received credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of foreign countries, the presidential press service has reported.
Yanukovych received credentials from South African Ambassadors Stanley Chupu Matabata, Bulgarian Ambassador Krasimir Minchev, Kazakh Ambassador Zautbek Turisbekov, Zimbabwean Ambassador Boniface Guwa Chidyausiku, Irish Ambassador Alison Kelly, Bruneian Ambassador Pengiran Kasmirhan Tahir, Laotian Ambassador Thieng Boupha, and Angolan Ambassador Joaquim Augusto de Lemos.
The president wished the diplomats successful work in Ukraine.
The ambassadors, in turn, expressed their readiness to work on the further development of relations with Ukraine and congratulated the Ukrainian President congratulated on the successful holding of the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.
“There was really a brilliant feast of football, an amazing atmosphere… There was a feeling of it being a holiday. Football unites everyone,” Yanukovych said on this occasion.
