UKRAINE-COALITION-ANTI-FASCISM
Kyiv, June 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A number of NGOs have created a Ukrainian anti-fascist coalition called “Ukraine Without Nazism,” according to a memorandum about the creation of the coalition obtained by Interfax-Ukraine.
“Describing a neo-Nazi threat as one of the major threats to the values of humanism, democracy, social justice and international solidarity, the parties agreed on the establishment of an anti-fascist coalition named ‘Ukraine without Nazism,’” according to the memorandum, which was passed to Interfax-Ukraine at a broad meeting of the World Without Nazism international human rights movement, which was the initiator of this coalition.
According to the memorandum, the parties agreed to combine efforts and cooperate in overcoming neo-fascist sentiments in Ukraine and globally.
The parties also gave their consent to the creation of a parliamentary anti-fascist club “Ukraine Without Nazism,” which will prevent any manifestations of neo-fascism in the country, carry out social monitoring to detect such sentiments and calls and conduct activities for young people, in support of the anti-fascist propaganda.
