Rosatom, Ukraine sign memorandum on peaceful nuclear cooperation

RUSSIA-ROSATOM-UKRAINE-MEMORANDUM

Yalta, July 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Rosatom and the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine have signed a memorandum on integration and cooperation on peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

The document was signed at a session of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission held in Yalta on Thursday.

The memorandum involves the creation of two joint holding companies in the area of nuclear fuel cycle and energy machinery, Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said earlier.
