Ukraine, Russia to sign bilateral documents in Yalta on July 12

UKRAINE-RUSSIA-DOCUMENTS-SIGNING

Kyiv, July 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A number of documents will be signed at the end of a meeting of the Interstate Commission chaired by the presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Viktor Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin, on July 12, the head of the Russian presidential administration, Sergei Ivanov, has said.

“The documents will be signed in Yalta by the two presidents, as well as by various agencies. These documents will essentially cover the entire range of the Russian-Ukrainian relations: there will be documents of a political nature, purely economic documents, and those expanding the format of humanitarian cooperation,” Ivanov told journalists in Kyiv on Monday.

At the same time, he did not say whether any documents related to the Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in the gas sector would be signed.
