Moscow, September 7 (Ukraine General News) – The latest reports say the bodies of 35 people who died in the crash of the Yakovlev Yak-42 airliner near Yaroslavl have been discovered, Interfax was told at the Emergency Situations Ministry information department.
The Yak-42 carrying the Lokomotiv ice-hockey team crashed at takeoff from Yaroslavl airport Wednesday afternoon. Only two out of the 45 people aboard survived.
Many of the bodies fell into the Volga river flowing near the airport.
