Chisinau, October 27 (Ukraine General News) – An agreement between the European Union and Moldova regarding a common airspace will oblige Moldovan companies not to use Soviet aircraft.
Under the document, the aircraft made in the USSR are due to disappear from the air services market before January 1, 2017, and Soviet-made helicopters before December 31, 2022, Moldovan Government Secretary General Victor Bodiu said on Thursday.
Accession to the common European airspace will create competition on the Moldovan air services market, said Transport and Road Infrastructure Minister Anatol Salaru.
