Pussy Riot supporter detained in Moscow’s Chistye Prudy area

Moscow, August 10 (Interfax) – The Moscow police have detained a man chanting slogans in support of Pussy Riot punk group in Chistye Prudy area where an unauthorized opposition protest is expected.

An Interfax correspondent reports that a middle-aged man standing next to the monument to the Kazakhstani enlightener Abai Kunanbayev started shouting slogans in defense of Pussy Riot members and was detained.

The people standing and sitting nearby chanted “Shame!”
