Kyiv, August 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Tax Service of Ukraine in Kyiv has denied reports that it conducted checks at the Kyivpastrans municipal transport operator on Monday.

“The Tax Service and Tax Police of Kyiv currently are not conducting any activities at Kyivpastrans municipal enterprise,” Interfax-Ukraine learnt at the press service of the State Tax Service of Kyiv on Monday.

Media reports said earlier that the local department of the State Tax Service made an inventory of the property at Kyivpastrans, and compiled a relevant report. This was allegedly made due to the fact that the company’s tax debt as of July exceeded UAH 28.6 million.
