Ukrainian Health Ministry falsifying Tymoshenko diagnosis, says her daughter

UKRAINE-TYMOSHENKO-DIAGNOSIS

Kyiv, February 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Yevheniya Tymoshenko, the daughter of the jailed former Ukrainian prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko, has said that while foreign doctors are preparing their final diagnosis and recommendations for the treatment of her mother, the Ukrainian Health Ministry is falsifying this diagnosis.

“While they are preparing their full recommendations and diagnosis, doctors from the Ukrainian Health Ministry keep manipulating and falsifying the diagnosis, as they’ve done for all these three months,” she said in an interview on the HARDtalk program on BBC.

Tymoshenko also said that her mother’s health was continuing to deteriorate.

“Since October, she’s been suffering from back pain. She cannot walk, and she hasn’t had any medial treatment so far,” Tymoshenko said.

She said she was not sure whether Tymoshenko would receive medical assistance in future and described as very difficult the battle for the involvement of independent foreign doctors in the checkup of her mother.

According to Tymoshenko, the regime is trying to physically destroy her mother, as she is the main political rival of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
