Kyiv, April 7 (Ukraine General News) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed laws introducing amendments to the law on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the law on central government agencies, which determines the organization, powers and mechanism of activities of the country’s central government agencies.
The head of state also signed the law amending certain legislative acts of Ukraine on the improvement of land management in Crimea, the presidential press service reported.
On March 17, the Verkhovna Rada adopted two laws submitted by the Ukrainian president – one on amendments to the law on the Cabinet of Ministers and another on central government agencies. Under the law on central government agencies, first deputy ministers and deputy ministers are appointed by the prime minister and dismissed by the president.
