New York, September 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will meet with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen during his working visit to New York, the press service of the head of state reported.
Yanukovych is to meet with Rasmussen in the afternoon on Tuesday, the press service said.
The Ukrainian president is also to meet with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Vainamo Niinisto.
The press service also said that during the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, Yanukovych will take part in an official lunch given by the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
On September 26, the Ukrainian president is scheduled to deliver a speech at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly.
While in New York, Yanukovych is also expected to meet with management of Chevron and ExxonMobil. Ukraine plans to sign contracts with Shell, ExxonMobil and Chevron.
