Yanukovych: Ukraine continuing to develop constructive partnership with NATO

Kyiv, December 16 (Ukraine News) – Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has described Ukraine’s partnership with NATO as constructive.

“Pursuing a policy of non-participation in military alliances, we are simultaneously continuing to develop a constructive partnership with NATO,” he said at a traditional annual meeting of the heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states in Kyiv on Friday.

Yanukovych also said that Ukraine remained one of the most active participants in UN-led international peacekeeping missions.
